Nicole’s Maternity Session Colonial Williamsburg, Va
Nicole’s Maternity session took place in Colonial Williamsburg. CW (as it is known by locals) is a beautiful historic area. It is the center of Williamsburg, Va. Nicole chose this location because the family will soon be moving to Alaska and she wanted commemorate their time here. As a Williamsburg, Va newborn photographer I spend a lot of my time in the studio. Sometimes it is nice to take a little field trip!
With Ollie and Max in tow, we explored Cw. Besides documenting the pregnancy, it was important to me to capture their time together as a family! The boys had a blast finding squirrels, sticks and flowers to give to their mamma! Our first spot to shoot was in front of the governors palace. Next we moved to the “bush maze” and then we moved to a spot that had flowers. We were SO lucky to find a garden that had white & yellow tulips that matched Nicole’s dress! I don’t know what was the biggest hit- finding sheep to gaze at or swinging between mom & dad!
Ollie and Max are going to be super big brothers. Rumor has it that the new addition is another BOY! I know this family will miss Williamsburg but after getting to know them I know they are going to love all that Alaska has to offer!
