I couldn’t believe it when Marylou contacted me about a Bump to Birthday Plan and told me that they live in North Carolina! Yes, that means they travel from NC all the way to Williamsburg every three months to hold a session with me. WOW! Talk about making a girl feel like she has arrived! I’ve never had someone travel from so far just for me! First up is their Colonial Williamsburg maternity session. It is no secret that I LOVE shooting in CW, as we locals call it!
Colonial Williamsburg Maternity Session: Modern Style in the Most Historic Location
It is no secret that CW is one of the most historic locations in the United States. You literally step back into time where the buildings and interpreters are outfitted in period pieces. Part of the fun of holding maternity sessions in Colonial Williamsburg is showing off a mamma’s bump, which was hidden in colonial times. This gown, part of the JBP Client Closet, features a modern one shoulder design and updated mermaid skirt. It’s feminine, romantic and very modern. Which is a beautiful contrast to the brick buildings, fences and square buildings.
